Bildwell Academy

Your kid grows. Kess keeps score.

Every other education app locks kids into a schedule built 50+ years ago. Same pace, same grade levels, ready or not. Kess doesn't run on a fixed timeline. It's one AI that grows up with your kid and moves them ahead as soon as they've shown they're ready, so they can finish ahead of schedule instead of just on time.

Bildwell Academy: People, Ideas, Discipline, Impact

Most kids graduate high school at 18.

A Bildwell student graduates college by then.

Not because they’re pushed. Because nothing artificial is holding them back. Kess moves a kid ahead as soon as they’ve shown they’re ready, not when a grade level says so.

Not a mockup

The actual app, mid-loop

Every domain, tracked in one place

Every domain, tracked in one place

Today's plan, a mastery summary, and anything that needs a second look. Kess flags it with a confidence score, a parent glances at it, and that's it.

Financial literacy starts with play money

Financial literacy starts with play money

Pretend stocks, but real research before buying. A kid learns to size up Lemonade Stand Co. before they ever touch a real dollar.

Real projects, real reflection

Real projects, real reflection

Build a paper bridge, upload the proof, explain what broke the first time. Kess grades the reasoning, not just a checkbox.

Proficiency, not age

There’s no grade level here. Just the climb.

Ages are arbitrary. Readiness isn’t. Kess moves a kid up the mountain the moment the evidence says they’re ready, not when the calendar says so.

Summit

High-school-level mastery, college-level mastery, evidence-backed the whole way up. Some kids will get here at 18. Some will get here faster.

Higher Ground

Harder problems, real research, real stakes. Kess raises the bar the second the evidence says a kid can handle it, not when a calendar flips a page.

The Climb

Reading, math, first money decisions with play cash, and hands-on builds. Plan, teach, assess runs every single day.

Base Camp

Kess meets a kid exactly where they are, whatever that starting line looks like, and starts building the evidence record from day one.

What Kess actually does

Four jobs, one AI Tutor holding them together

It’s not four apps stitched together. It’s one AI that plans, teaches, and assesses across every part of a kid’s development, and keeps a record, backed by evidence, of what they’ve actually mastered.

Planner

Reads yesterday's evidence and generates today's plan across nine areas (academic, critical thinking, physical, financial, and more) before the day even starts.

Tutor

Only steps in when a kid gets stuck, and even then it goes one step at a time: a hint, then a guiding question, then teaching the concept, then a fresh problem. It never just hands over the answer.

Assessor

Grades every answer with evidence and reasoning, not just a score, and flags anything it isn't sure about for a parent to look at.

Mastery Engine

Decides what's actually mastered using fixed evidence rules, not the AI's judgment, so you can always see why something counts.

What’s real today is a V0: a working signup-to-mastery loop on a live math skill, backed by a real Postgres database. A full curriculum library and more parent screens are next. Those aren’t live yet.
